Call for Ideas for the National Skills Week 2020 National Conference.

One of the main pieces of feedback we received,  was the need for an event where VET success stories could be showcased and explored, highlight ideas that are working – ideas that are successful in responding to the challenges associated with VET, engaging with people and addressing skill shortages.  So we created a National Event to launch National Skills week 2020- An Orchestra of Ideas.

This is in line with the National Skills week mandate-which  was founded to promote Vocational Education and training, to showcase industry and the Vocational Skills Training sector working together to increase positive economic outcomes and to generate discussions and to promote collaboration within the sector to change the perception of VET. This is of benefit to all industry sectors who are struggling with skill shortages, to employ Apprentices and Trainees and engage people to take up careers in their organisations.
