VET has been the foundation of Australia’s strong and vibrant economy. It produces industry leaders, offers great diversity and career paths, supports Australia’s resources and primary industries, builds our cities and monuments, supports our Tourism and heritage and a whole lot more.
To celebrate National Skills Week, career practitioners from the AIS CPRN will deliver online presentations for the high performance sector, including athletes, National Sporting Organisations and the National Institute Network.
The Australian Institute of Sport will be showcasing several VET pathways and how they can offer elite athletes new and exciting career paths, flexible study, and connections to employers. As VET supports many primary industries, having ‘skills’ will help drive Australia to once again have a strong and vibrant economy in these uncertain workforce times.
The AIS Career Practitioners from the CPRN will deliver pre-recorded videos accessible via the Career & Education section of AIS website. The videos will be released throughout this week and the links will be shared with the AW&E Network via Teams as they go live.
