This outstanding national recognition highlights the College’s dedication to providing exceptional vocational education and training (VET) programs for its secondary school students. The award celebrates the quality and effectiveness of the pathways JCCA has created to enable students to pursue vocational careers. This Gold award at the Australian Training Awards marks a significant milestone for John Curtin College of the Arts and reinforces its position as a leader in vocational education within the secondary school sector.
The various VET programs offered to students on site and off site encompass and acknowledge our student’s diversity, creativity and innovative minds through multiple learning platforms and experiences. The important college connections to the community and industry ensure that the programs remain aligned with current industry standards and trends ultimately preparing students for success post-secondary schooling.
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 50549) John Curtin College of the Arts provides nationally recognised certificate courses in arts industry qualifications. These qualifications combine industry standard training with real-life work experiences equipping students with the skills necessary to enter the workforce, acquire transferable skills or pursue further tertiary education.
