ABOUT APPRENTICESHIP SUPPORT AUSTRALIA

The Australian Government contracts Apprenticeship Support Australia to provide skills development advice and solutions to businesses of all sizes and industries.
Backed by the Australian Chamber movement, we are committed to building a better Australia by promoting participation in and increasing the completion of VET programs, including apprenticeships and traineeships under the Australian Apprenticeships Support Network program.

Apprenticeship Support Australia combines 75 years of collective experience between Business NSW in New South Wales, the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Victoria, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIWA)  in Western Australia, to provide skills development advice and solutions to businesses and job-seekers across the country.
Apprenticeship Support Australia’s services focus on lifting apprenticeship commencement and completion rates by providing support at every stage of the employment cycle. Our combined strength ensures that our customers, no matter how large or small, experience unprecedented levels of service quality and consistency, backed by access to Australia’s foremost business experts through the Business Chamber movement.  Job-seekers, school students, and apprentices can all access and receive ongoing support, including career advice, job matching, and ongoing mentoring and support.

Our innovative careers hub, Skillsroad.com.au, is regarded as Australia’s number one destination for independent career advice. This website offers free resources such as a Career Quiz, over 350 career profiles, a 360-degree Virtual Workplace, a Job-Fit test to assess work-readiness and career  compatibility and other online tools and resources for students, job seekers and their parents, teachers and employers.

As the Australian economy recovers, reskilling and upskilling are more important than ever. Apprenticeship Support Australia has long advocated for support for existing employers to upskill and retrain through apprenticeships and traineeships, and we are committed to providing you with the best possible service.
We are committed to building upon existing expertise, strengthening the Australian workforce with over 1.5 million registered apprentices and trainees since 1998. No matter the size of your business, tailored quality service will support the apprenticeship and traineeship pathways.
