Creative, engaging and dynamic videos, in “snackable” and “bite sized form” are all the rage.

Becoming increasingly popular in recent years, due to the nature of shifting times, changes in technology and a movement in the way we interact and view entertainment, short social media videos are creating a buzz in the digital world.

“Short videos suit our busy lives, brief attention spans and the need to consume content easily and quickly. The shorter the content is, the better”, says Donna Moritz, the Social Media Examiner.

Statistics show that visual content is 40x more likely to get shares on social media than any other content and videos that are under 1 minute receive 80% viewer retention.

Recognising this shift, today SkillsOne launches a new channel – SKILLS BITES

SKILLS BITES are a series of social media videos, depicting skills and trades in 15-30 second videos, created to get people excited about vocational careers.

The SKILLS BITES videos have already reached over 8,000 viewers since inital creation in January, 2016.
