National Skills Week announces major partnership with education technology leader ReadyTech
National Skills Week (NSWK), Australia’s premier annual initiative celebrating Vocational Education and Training (VET), is proud to announce a new Major Partnership with education technology leader ReadyTech for 2025.
Now in its 15th year, National Skills Week 2025 will run from August 25–31, uniting industry, government, education providers and communities in a national conversation about the value of skills, training, and the many career pathways available through VET.
This year’s theme, “Explore All the Options,” reflects the diverse and evolving landscape of education and employment in Australia — a vision closely aligned with ReadyTech’s work in supporting educators with the technology platforms to deliver flexible, student-centred learning.
“We are thrilled to welcome ReadyTech as Major Partner for 2025,” said Brian Wexham, Chair of National Skills Week. “National Skills Week exists to celebrate the success stories of VET and to elevate the systems, people and partnerships that make those stories possible. ReadyTech plays a key role in this space, helping providers across the country manage the student journey with smart, purpose-built technology that supports better outcomes for learners.”
As a trusted partner to over 1,200 Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), TAFEs and tertiary institutions, ReadyTech offers true cloud solutions that support everything from student enrolment and compliance to learning management and assessment – often operating behind the scenes to help providers deliver world-class skills training.
Trevor Fairweather, Executive General Manager, Education at ReadyTech, said the partnership was a natural fit. “We’re proud to support National Skills Week because vocational education plays a critical role in shaping Australia’s future. It equips people with real-world skills and opens pathways to meaningful, lasting careers. With skills reform gaining momentum, it’s never been more important to spotlight the value of the VET sector. National Skills Week brings the conversation to the national stage – and we’re proud to play our part.”
The partnership comes at a time when VET’s role in areas such as clean energy, construction, defence, care industries and advanced manufacturing has never been more vital. National Skills Week and ReadyTech will work together to shine a light on the pathways available to today’s learners – including the support systems enabling their success.
National Skills Week 2025 also acknowledges the support provided by the Australian Government.
