Students undertaking accredited VET pathways will take centre stage to showcase their skills journeys — highlighting the hands-on learning and industry connections that have shaped their growth.

School-Based Apprentices and Trainees will also share their personal stories, offering powerful insights into how combining classroom learning with real-world, on-the-job training has helped them build confidence, capability, and career direction.

It’s a celebration of successful learning in action — and the many ways students are turning passion into profession.

A Celebration of Pathways and Possibilities

The Careers and Employment Expo was a huge success, drawing in neighbouring schools and showcasing the many opportunities available through Vocational Education and Training. With growing numbers of students pursuing School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, the event highlighted real and achievable pathways for future employment and further study.

A standout feature of the evening was the genuine engagement from both students and parents, many of whom shared their positive experiences and insights — interviews with attendees would provide powerful reflections on the impact of the night.

The event also reinforced the strength of accredited Stage 6 pathways, giving students clear direction and confidence as they plan their senior years and beyond.
