The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be holding a luncheon marking National Skills Week 2018, (August 27 to September 2.) The theme for this year’s National Skills Week is real skills for real careers. Joining us to talk about the important initiatives in the vocational education and training sector and the positive outcomes from VET and apprenticeships is the Assistant Minister for Vocational Education and Skills, the Hon Karen Andrews MP.
After her presentation the Assistant Minister will be joined by Stephen Cartwright, Chief Executive Officer, NSW Business Chamber and Brian Wexham, Chief Executive Officer, SkillsOne Television for an in depth Q&A facilitated by the Australian Chamber’s Director of Employment, Education and Training, Jenny Lambert. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions from the audience.
Showcasing their impressive vocational skills will be the students from the multi-award-winning training restaurant, William Blue Dining providing the service and catering for this lunch.
