Event Date: June 14th, 2017

The Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector continues to face many challenges from addressing employers concerns about attracting skilled staff, engaging young people into apprenticeship opportunities to educating parents about the opportunities other than university.
Whilst business confidence has grown in the last 12 months there must be a continued focus of placing apprenticeships and traineeships high on the agenda.
The Group Training network is a key part of the NSW and ACT ability to drive the strategies by providing a flexible, supportive model for employers and young people to connect and build trade skills.
The Group Training Association of NSW & ACT facilitates greater engagement and collaboration between employers, training providers, policymakers and other stakeholders to ensure training meets industry needs and bridges skills gaps.
We invite you to join the discussion and work towards moving apprenticeship and traineeships forward.
