Event Date: August 30th, 2017

Competitors from Melbourne Polytechnic and around Victoria will be participating in the 2017 Melbourne East Regional Joinery and Cabinetmaking Competition.

The competition will be a gruelling 6 hour event, where competitors will showcase their skills and knowledge from their chosen fields by producing projects designed to test them mentally and physically. These projects will need to be finished to a high standard to prove they have what it takes to be the next representative for the Melbourne East region at the National WorldSkills Competition in 2018 and quite possibly, the next Joinery/Cabinetmaking Skillaroo sent to represent Australia in Kazan Russia 2019.
