Careers will be in the spotlight at SuniTAFE’s Careers Open Day event this August at the Mildura Campus.

A range of information will be available to students, school leavers, job seekers, career changers, those returning to work and people considering further study or training.

Participants can try a course area, tour facilities and speak to staff at the SuniTAFE taster sessions. Tasters will run every half hour in trades, hospitality/business/arts, health/community/early years, and conservation/agriculture/horticulture.

Skills and Jobs Centre staff will provide training advice and support, career guidance, course advice, industry skill needs and skills assessment.

Information on the Free TAFE for Priority Courses Victorian Government program will be widely available.

Workshops will be held in the auditorium to learn more about the Skills and Jobs Centre and Free TAFE with a special presentation by the Australian Defence Force.

The event will be held on Wednesday, August 28 between 10am and 5pm.
