This is the second last workshop in the SALT National Skills Week Tour , a tour that has spanned three weeks because why only do one week if you can do three! Since 2012 SALT has had a vision to teach as many women and girls as possible basic tool use to give them confidence and self esteem plus a I CAN DO this attitude. This workshop will teach the young women from Nyngan High School how to safely use 11 different tools. The trades represented by the SALT tradies include painting & decorating, aircraft mechanics and heavy vehicle mechanics for this workshop.
