Event Date: August 29th, 2018

This is the third workshop in the SALT National Skills Week Tour and workshop number 173 for SALT. Since 2012 SALT has had a vision to teach as many women and girls as possible basic tool use to give them confidence and self esteem plus a I CAN DO this attitude. We believe that it is really important to show all young people in primary schools that careers can be anything and this is especially important today as young boys are also not being taught how to use tools. This workshop will teach boys and girls from Darlington Point Primary School how to safely use 11 different tools. The trades represented by the SALT tradies include carpentry, painting & decorating and heavy vehicle mechanics for this workshop.
