Each year, National Skills Week shines a spotlight on Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) system, and highlight the talents, diversity, benefits and career pathways associated with VET.

The Jordan River Learning Federation Trade and Skills Expo celebrates the achievements of practical learners, and showcases the work of the Southern Central Trade Training Centre and its important part in the Jordan River Learning Federation senior school Years 11/12 program.

The Expo will highlight ways in which the school’s Southern Central Trade Training Centre engages with stakeholders, particularly with industry players including SRT Logistics, Work and Training and Brighton Council.

Education innovation such the Driving for Jobs program and the Paddock to Plate initiatives will be featured at the Expo, which will also hear from industry and community partners about why they have chosen to work with the SCTTC and the JRLF Senior School in the selection and recruitment of trainees and younger staff.
